The projects are intended to create a self-supporting village that will depend on itself using incomes from the farms to be known as The Jiokow Farms. It is envisioned that the farms will generate an income of at least $100,000 USD per year for the village after the wages for the farm workers are deducted. This income is to be used to run the village. It is from this source of revenue that the teachers, medical workers and the village management will get paid. It is hoped that once this project becomes a success, it will be possible for other villages to replicate.
