Lift Kids is an organization fueled by the enthusiasm of our
volunteers. Our volunteers are represent a broad rang to talents and
industries and it is with their expertise that Lift Kids is able to develop and
manage successful village development projects around the world.
Volunteering at Lift Kids is different than at other non-profits, because we
take a business centric approach how we operate. Lift Kids is about
developing leaders. This means you, as a volunteer, will be able to design
and develop your own modules, relevant to your passions and strengths.
Lift Kids is organized into five teams
or functional areas.
Collaboration : The loosely termed
"Collaboration Team" works to put the tools, processes, and
communication lines in place to enable Lift Kids to work more-effectively and,
ultimately, completely independent of geography.
Content: Like a marketing department, the content
team is responsible honing and communicating the message of Lift Kids. Beyond
keeping the site content fresh and organized, the content team also helps tell
the story of our projects and impacts.
Capability : The capability team develops and replicates our business
modules. These modules represent the underlying business plans that drive our
larger sustainability model.
Community : The community team is vital for pooling the resources to make
Lift Kids run. The focus of our community team is to develop and
maintain relationships with our volunteers, corporate donors and
foundations.
Countries : Providing
the link to people on the ground, the Countries Team is made up of liaisons and
local experts. They ensure our projects
are respectful and relevant.
