I was born in Kamagambo village in 1958, I did my primary school in Kamagambo, I did my high school in Kisumu boys high school. I came to USA in 1979 to go to S.U.N.Y , Sate University of New York at New Paltz. I graduated in 1984 with bachelors of science in social work. I have been working as a social  worker with a company called Delta community service for 22yrs, My current position is assistance relief manager. 

Why I am involve in trying to uplift my village ? Well When I received an invitation letter to come to USA . I had a partial scholarship, I did not have any money for the air fair , I did not know how I will raise $700 for the air fair to USA. . Hera women group did a three month fund raising and most of them sold their cows goats chickens to make sure and I come to America. That is why I want to help my people.

What  am I trying to do with my village ?I am trying to make my village get better by applying the modern methods of Land husbandry , ecology and agriculture, I am trying to improve their cattle's, sheep's, goats, chickens and any other locally available resources.
