Ms Yasukawa has been combining her extensive background in architectural and planning
design, education and nonprofit activities with sustainability long before this field became
trendy and she is now applying this knowledge and experience in the firm YCC International,
making it a leader in the community and among its peers.

The Firm

YCC International began as a full service architectural design firm in the mid 90’s committed
to the use of the integrated design process in all of its projects. As an early adopter of
sustainable design, YCC promoted sustainable design techniques even prior to the
introduction of LEED in the late 90’s. Today, YCC is focused on the delivery of comprehensive
sustainability consultation to project teams and owners exploring LEED certification and
Sustainable Business Development. Elsa Yasukawa of YCC teams with a variety of other
consultants who bring their expertise to specific projects based upon the requirements of the
project.
